All good things must come to an end.

It is with sadness and regret that I inform the good people of Woonsocket that, due to personal reasons, has retired its online website.   That does not mean that I will no longer pay attention to what goes on in our great city, and neither should you.

We in Woonsocket are very fortunate to have two radio stations, two newspapers, and cable TV with local access to provide us with information.  In addition, the Woonsocket Education Department has a wonderful new website that now posts meetings, agenda, packets, financials, etc.  The City of Woonsocket’s new website is due to go on line soon.

My hope is that both Woonsocket websites will post audio of all open meetings.  All it takes is a small digital recorder to record each open meeting and our IT people to post the audio on our new websites.

Thank you to those who have visited on a regular basis; to those who offered words of encouragement; to all who have shared information; and to those who have become good friends.

There are so many people to thank for the success of  I won’t attempt to name them all in fear to forget anyone, but you know who you are as I’ve thanked you many times privately.

It’s been a great five and a half years.  Stay informed. Keep asking questions.  Remember to vote.

     See you at meetings!
